Cinnaminta

Cinnaminta was launched on 14-Dec-07 and is in the final stages of on-line testing. You are welcome to use it as a permanent live service - there are no plans to clear out member input, requests, archives or the like.

We are not certain that all of the features work in all cases on all operating systems. There is an automatic error reporting system but please do report any problems that you have which do not appear to have been picked up by the system, i.e. things like screen errors which are not reported to you as an error page, and the Cinnaminta team will try to solve them as quickly as possible.

You might suspect that WikkidWeazle9 and JoeStoat7 are part of the Cinnaminta team. You might be right...

1. The request page for Petitions is missing a data field for the person / organisation to whom / to which it will be delivered.

Development

Projects in development

The following projects are in development:

1. The private archiving system is too restrictive and not flexible. A multi-layered archive system will be developed to allow permissive archiving as:
   • public: whole world
   • non-public: friends including those below
   • non-public: close friends including those below
   • non-public: close family + reader
   • non-public: only me + reader
2. Additional search criteria will be provided to allow better definition of location for readers to get more relevant matches to areas they can easily access. [wait for requests list to grow]
3. Drop down lists in the main request form will be provided for counties for UK, states for US, etc. and similar for other major countries (Country specific). [wait until IT resources are available]
